Primordial Pikmin are a mysterious type of Pikmin appearing in Pikmin Chronicles, being found in the Primordial Caves and believed to predate any known Pikmin species. They are slightly taller than Purple Pikmin, and appear to be a mix between Pikmin and Common Glowcaps. Though they are not resistant to water, Primordial Pikmin can swim on its surface. They also emit a faint glow, which aids vision in dark locations.
