The Savage Hoppmoth is a small, juvenile hoppmoth that appears in the Castaway Mode DLC of Pikmin E: Remastered. It is a small creature, with attributes of both a moth and a grasshopper, colored mostly dirt brown with dull, yet neon cyan highlights. They are normally only encountered in dark areas, such as caves or during night explorations. Upon seeing any Pikmin or leaders, they will charge after them at a much faster pace than Screeching Hoppmoths, albeit clumsily, jumping around in bursts to confuse the leaders, however occasionally failing to land on their target and falling over onto their backs. Once they strike, they will grab Pikmin with their claws and eat them. It is suspected to be the juvenile form of a Vicious Hoppmoth.
