Swallowander is a gillspit in Pikmin 2... Again?. They are round and pink, resembling axolotls, with gills and two legs, and a body shape similar to that of members of the crushblat family. It will eat treasures and then run away from nearby Pikmin and leaders afterward, and can spray water if they are nearby or attacking it. After being defeated, it spits out the treasure it has eaten.

- “Never did I think I would really see a creature eat an object in front of our eyes. Well, we know already that they have a strange taste for mostly inedible objects, but to see this in real time? Well, at least it is friendly. Now, I wonder, will the Pikmin think it is a treasure if it eats sparklium... They would probably think it is a treasure.”
