The Hydro-Spouting Forcet is a species of forcet in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. After first, the creature resembles a smaller version of the Titan Dweevil's Monster Pump, but upon closer inspection, has three purple bumps on its left and right side when idle. If approached, the creature will erupt from the ground with its six purple crab-like legs, and two bulbous eyes attached to wiry stalks will appear from the top of the faucet.

The Forcet will wander around until it decides to attack. The Hydro Forcet attacks by releasing a large pool of water beneath it, which only Blue Pikmin can enter. The water will dry after thirty seconds have passed. Before the Forcet dies, it will launch a large ball of water into the air that explodes into dozens of droplets, causing non-Blue Pikmin to choke. The faucet can be collected for a good amount of Pokos.

Notes

Olimar's notes

The Forcets copy parts of a Titan Dweevils machinery to mimic for themselves. This species of Forcet seems to copy the Monster Pump, holding a reserve of water to use as defense. Due to this, the small insect stays in the water, drinking it to consume smaller insects and plankton for food. We have been studying the unknown substance the machinery is made of and have found no match or info for any other substance documented... Could this be something supernatural?

Louie's notes

Inedible. Consumption may lead to dumping out large pools of water and seeing large, golden anomalies.

President’s notes

There's more of these bugs that can create any gadget we want!? I've struck a gold mine! Maybe they could turn into earplugs so I wouldn't have to listen to my wife Dorris yapping at me every day.
