The Dwarf Long Legs is an arachnorb in Pikmin SP. It is the young of a Raging Long Legs and is one-third the size of one. It is first encountered in Onion Cave, serving as the first boss of the game. This enemy's scientific name relates to that of the Raging Long Legs, due to it having the name furiendis and this creature having furidwarfendis.

Although the Dwarf Long Legs is supposed to serve as a miniboss, it is very easy to defeat and is sometimes found in groups near other stronger enemies. To defeat it, simply throw Pikmin, preferably Purple Pikmin onto its spherical body, until it shakes them off. It can not be punched by leaders. It will then fly into a short-lasting rampage, which lasts twenty seconds, fervently slamming its main body into the ground in an attempt to crush anything under it until it calms down and the cycle can be repeated. In the Dark Nest, Dwarf Long Legs' can make Pikmin panic by unleashing a loud roar. However, they only use this roaring attacking when enraged, and only twice, once every seven seconds. The Dwarf Long Legs can not be enraged in the Piklopedia.

The only difference, however, is that the dwarf long legs does not have flat feet for crushing pikmin. Instead, it drops its body multiple times while in a rage in an attempt to crush pikmin."

-This is a relatively easy enemy if you are careful. You basically have to toss pikmin on the spherical "head", preferably purples. When it shakes them off, run away, because it will start rushing around and smashing its "head" into the ground, attempting to crush pikmin and captains. When it calms down, repeat the process until it is defeated. Be more careful when fighting it in [[The Dark Nest]], because it will scare your pikmin by roaring(it doesn't have a mouth, so how?), making the risk of losing pikmin higher.
