Furious Fields is the third area in Pikmin 3 (Flish version), and is unlocked after the Real Painting is collected. It was formerly the Perplexing Pool, having dried up and become a desert after the events of Pikmin 2, most of the water now absent and the area's terrain being entirely sand. Several pools of muddy water are found dotted about the desert, each harboring one Sand Dumple. Furious Fields has only three rings for Onions to land on, far fewer than can accommodate all eight Onions at once; because of this, only three Onions can be chosen to land in this particular area on any day, although this is no issue until at least four are found. Tan Pikmin are discovered here.
