Notes
Olimar's notes
- “No matter what color Pikmin is tossed into the bosom of this flower, it spits out the same number of blue Pikmin. This family of plants boasts soft, fleshy leaves, the sinewy tendrils of which allow the flower to open and close repeatedly over the course of a day.”
Louie's Notes
- “This flower's tough texture makes it unsuitable for salads, but its bright blue hue makes for a grandiose garnish!”

Notes
Olimar's observations
- “Out of the three primary colored Candypop Buds, these are probably the most helpful, especially on those caves where we just barely don't have enough Blue Pikmin to lift something through the water. It sometimes really seems like these flowers have a mind of their own, and know where to show up to be the most useful. Perhaps their connection to the Pikmin family is stronger than I once suspected.”
Cookin' with Louie
- “This flower's tough texture makes it unsuitable for salads, but its bright blue hue makes for a grandiose garnish.”

There are much less of these than Pikmin 2, not that it matters as Candypop Buds are only semi-useful after the first half of the game.

Lapis Lazuli Candypop Buds can be found distributed throughout the Marsh Territory. They can be found in groups of two to three. They regenerate every seven days.
