Louie's only known family members are his grandmother, father, and aunt. She mentions Louie's father in other e-mails, saying that Louie should visit him when he returns to Hocotate.
Louie's family (at least his grandmother and himself) seem to be fond of cooking and eating bugs. Louie's grandmother likes to send him samples of her bug foods, a fact which she alludes to in some of her messages.
