The Emperor Cannon Beetle Larva is a larval lithopod appearing in Pikoblitz. It resembles most other larval cannon beetles, although dark blue with a tan-orange underside. Its name makes the creature seem as if it is difficult to defeat, but its primary means of attack is the only challenging part about it. The boulders it fires from its mouth may either travel in a straight line across the ground or home in on the positions of leaders, making the Emperor Cannon Beetle Larva dangerously unpredictable as the creature may randomly fire one or the other. Both types shatter upon hitting an obstacle or enemy. To defend itself from attackers, an Emperor Cannon Beetle Larva will buck them off. Swarming it with Pikmin or throwing Purple Pikmin onto it are both viable strategies, but punching it is not.
