The Obelisk Burrow-nit is a gigantic burrow-nit in Pikmin: Sinister Incinerator that is the size of a large Emperor Bulblax. It dwells in the final sublevel of the Dark Desert Cave, the final dungeon in the Desert Oasis. The creature will emerge from the sand of its large arena when a leader or Pikmin touches the obelisk protruding from the ground.
Its proboscis is far too large to eat Pikmin with, so the creature slams it onto its prey instead, crushing leaders and Pikmin caught underneath and severely harming those adjacent to it upon impact with the ground. As the Obelisk Burrow-nit's backside is shielded by its shell, its vulnerable face must be attacked, which is simpler than it may sound; get up close and throw Pikmin onto it. To shake off Pikmin, the Obelisk Burrow-nit will raise the front of its body and slam it down, attempting to crush Pikmin beneath it. When only a small portion of its health remains, the Obelisk Burrow-nit will burrow into the ground to emerge from another place, requiring quick reactions. For this phase of the battle, the use of ultra-spicy spray is vital.
