Content
Main characters
All nine main types, 10 including Bulbmin, have distinct personalities.
Red Pikmin
The first of the Main Nine, he sometimes acts as the group's leader. He is confident of his team and himself, a cool guy, and a natural.
Yellow Pikmin
The second of the main bunch, he's more of an optimistic and cautious person and sort of a scaredy-cat. But when it comes to missions, he's usually seen with many types of bomb rocks.
Blue Pikmin
Blue is a shy, timid, and overly worried person. He's always looking out for their friends, and with them, he's quite calm most of the time and also brave.
Purple Pikmin
Purple is the calm, strong, relaxed, but lazy type of the group, usually seen sleeping at random occurrences. He likes quiet places, so he can sleep, but hates loud noises.
White Pikmin
White, Similar to the Construction short, is a hothead because he's small but sometimes is seen being happy and having good times.
Rock Pikmin
Rock Pikmin is also cautious just like Yellow, clumsy and a little cocky.
Winged Pikmin
Winged Pikmin is sometimes, the sassy Pikmin, doing girlish activities, and when angry, just like White, has quite a temper.
Ice Pikmin
Ice Pikmin is sort of the kind Pikmin, getting along, sometimes being hyperactive, and just has fun.
Glow Pikmin
They are the ghosts of the main 9. He only shows up for a few episodes
Bulbmin
Bulbmin is the pet of the Main Eight, first introduced in episode eight of season one, "The Pet".

- Life on PNF-404 – the introduction to the Main Eight Pikmin.
- Boom Boom BOOM! – the Main Eight see a game called "Bomberman" so they play it, and try it in real life with bomb rocks.
- A Break in Clampclam Shores – the main eight Pikmin go to Clamclamp Shores for a break.
- Rustz 'n' Boltz – Ice, Rock, and Yellow go to the construction site from Occupational Hazards, but not knowing they are being watched by lots of Pikgems and a Diamond Long Legs.
- Run Away! – bullied by a Bomb Rock Pikmin and a Burgundy Pikmin, Blue snaps, and uses a remote-controlled Waterwraith robot to terrorize them.
- Shoppin Spree – the Main Eight go shopping for a very special game with only one copy left for sale! Will they make it?
- Cone or Cup? – White gets into a huge fight with a Spike Pikmin over whether ice cream should be served in a cone or a cup.
- The Pet – the Main Eight get a Bulbmin, but then a huge outbreak occurs.
- White Pikmin and the Burgeoning Spiderwort – White Pikmin desperately wants to have a berry from a Burgeoning Spiderwort, but once he eats it, it has some strange side effects on him.
- The Grand Prix – it's time for the Grand Prix tournament! Our eight heroes train for this, but something bad happens...
