Attacks Knocks Pikmin away, depetals Pikmin

The Suckerpunch Blowhog is an enemy in Pikmin: Shipwrecked Stargazers. It resembles a Withering Blowhog, but yellow and with a long snout. Its eyes and the tip of its snout are the same, faded periwinkle color. When approached, it will face the ground and use suction force to stick to the floor with its snout. It will then stretch backward, building up enough elastic energy to sling into leaders and Pikmin with immense force and power. This knocks whoever gets hit backward and often depetals Pikmin as well.

Notes

Olimar's notes

Using its long snout to forage for insects, this aerial blowhog closely related to the blowtorch and frosthop species may seem placid. However, it has highly developed lungs and extensive muscle tissues and tendons that allow for immense flexibility. Using these traits, it affixes itself to surfaces and slings its body into predators like a giant fist, incapacitating them.

Although this behavior is inconvenient, that hasn't stopped explorers from giving it the adorable moniker of, "rubber ducky blowhog" due to its color and texture.

Louie's notes

Not really all that tasty. One half of it is tendon, and the other is like a balloon's skin. It does make for a good garnish, however.

Ship's comments

Yellow rubber always brings to mind raincoats and boots. And then I think about the worst type of weather for a metallic marvel like me: downpour. Gloomy, rust-causing downpour! Way to rain on my parade, buddy!
