Jumping Flick Beetles appear in Pikmin: A Curious Wilderness. They jump around, somersaulting on and off bouncy mushrooms and preventing Pikmin and captains from using them. When a Pikmin lands on one, it will tumble off to the ground, knocking the Pikmin off upon impact. Afterward, the Jumping Flick Beetle will quickly burrow and disappear. If a Jumping Flick Beetle is swarmed by Winged Pikmin, they will begin carrying it to their Onion alive. If not enough Winged Pikmin grab onto it in time, the beetle will tumble to the ground and flee. When a fleeing Flickbeetle is killed, it will spit up three blobs of nectar or sprays. If a Jumping Flickbeetle were to encounter a Puffstool or collide with a poison spotcap, it would become a Toxic Flick Beetle.

Jumping Flick Beetles appear in Pikmin: Festival of Music. They jump around and create noises similar to the Jumping Flick Beetles from Pikmin: A Curious Wilderness. They jump on a variety of mushrooms for their variety of skins. These can be found in the Undercity islands and the main islands. They appear on the main islands Primordial Thicket and Forest Navel. This character appears on the Undercity Plant, Earth, Water, Wind, Ice, and Magical Districts. They cannot be bought but can be bred from Purple Pikmin and Flint Beetle or Puffstool and Flint beetle, the latter being more likely to have the Toxic skin. They can also be summoned in the Undercity with their respective type crystals, that being Shimmer, Earth, and Air.
