Magic is a hazard that usually has no harmful effects on its own, but can be imbued with hazards, making it potentially extremely dangerous.

This article or section pertains to Pikmin 2... Again?, a fanon game created by Blower Pot.

Magic is the final hazard in Pikmin 2... Again?, found exclusively in the Ultimate Challenge. Its basic form is a pink vapor that makes Pikmin panic and scatter on contact, but it can exhibit the qualities of other hazards, making it astronomically more dangerous. Only Original Pikmin are resistant to the effects of magic. The variants of magic include:

  • Fire: bounces in random directions as a ball of flame.
  • Water: moves vertically or horizontally as a moving water puddle.
  • Electricity: periodic lighting strikes in a random location.
  • Poison: a gaseous cloud, lingering in place.
  • Crushing: an anvil that flies up and then falls, crushing any Pikmin underneath.
  • Ice: a cold wind that is shaped like a ring and slowly fades into view, able to freeze Pikmin when visible.
