The Bombardier Bug is a huge lithopod in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze that rivals the Raging Long Legs in size. It is much more dangerous than any ordinary cannon beetle because it shoots bomb rocks out of its mouth instead of boulders. When irritated by Pikmin that attack its legs, it thrashes and stomps about, littering the field with inactive bomb rocks that can be primed by its tantrums. Although this creature's legs are vulnerable to attacks, they are well-armored and Pikmin will not cause much damage this way, so Pikmin must be thrown at the Bombardier Bug's face to reduce its health more efficiently. When defeated, the Bombardier Bug coughs out smoke and curls up into a ball, and can be brought to an Onion for whopping seventy Pikmin seeds.
