The Phosbat Caverns are the first of the two caves in the Miraculous Mine. It has five sublevels.

Sublevel 1

• Enemies:
  • Phosbat × 5, plus however more emerge from phosbat pods
  • Phosbat Larva × 10, plus however more emerge from phosbat pods
• Obstacles:
  • Phosbat pod × 3

This sublevel has a mine-like appearance, with a few intact and broken beams scattered about.

Sublevel 2

• Enemies:
  • Ormitite × 4
  • Phosbat × 9
  • Phosbat Larva × 2

This sublevel visually resembles the previous ones, although with exposed ore veins.

Sublevel 3

• Vegetation:
  • Night-Sky Candypop Bud × 2
• Others:
  • Egg × 7

A rest floor containing many eggs and two Night-Sky Candypop Buds.

Sublevel 4

• Enemies:
  • Arachnode × 15
  • Female Shooting Spiner × 2
  • Male Shooting Spiner × 5
  • Orallic Shooting Spiner × 3
  • Ormitite × 4
  • Phosbat × 1

This sublevel takes on the appearance of a drill tunnel, with many other drill tunnels and exposed ores.

Sublevel 5

• Enemies:
  • Vehemoth Phosbat × 1
• Vegetation:
  • Ivory Candypop Bud × 1
  • Lapis Lazuli Candypop Bud × 1
  • Lime Candypop Bud × 1
  • Night-Sky Candypop Bud × 1
  • Tangerine Candypop Bud × 1

This sublevel consists of a chamber containing one candypop bud for every type of Pikmin discovered so far, followed by one in which the Vehemoth Phosbat resides.
