The Rose Wollywog, or Rose Wollyhop, is a species of amphituber appearing in Pikmin Evolution. It is a standard-sized amphituber, having a shape more closely matching the Albino Wollywog's than the Yellow Wollywog's. It has rose pink skin befitting its name, and odd purple bumps on its head. The Rose Wollywog dwells in jungles, minding its own business and tending to its pond of young Wogpoles. It is highly protective of its young and will crush anything that enters its territory, with the exception of herbivores and carrion scavengers. Besides that, the Rose Wollywog has a special trait: when it jumps, it releases a magenta-colored gas from pores on the purple bumps on its body, which lands in the area it will land. Any Pikmin in the landing site will become confused and skip around it, making them more likely to be crushed by the Rose Wollywog. When it lands, it releases a follow-up cloud of confusion gas, which convinces even more Pikmin to follow where it flops, making it quite an unassumingly dangerous enemy.

Due to its habit of spreading confusion gas wherever it goes, the key strategy is to focus on attacking it during the frequent yet brief periods where it isn't. Using Alloy Pikmin is a very poor choice when fighting this creature, as their seismic stomps will only cause it to release more even gas. To attack the Rose Wollywog effectively, try to poison it, as the poison gas is heavier than the confusion gas, and seeps into the Wollywog, inflicting heavy damage over time. The poison also clogs the pores used to release the confusion gas, but in return, the Wollywog can only be attacked by Roach Pikmin, which makes it as dangerous as any other standard Wollywog. Overall, this enemy brings a twist on the classic Wollywog strategy while adding a deadly aspect to make it one of the most dangerous enemies to face.
