In Pikmin: Global Breakdown, the Turretoad is a Wollywog that has been outfitted with a Man-at-Legs gun, which is positioned on the front middle of its body, below its eyes. With it, a Turretoad can rapid-fire explosive projectiles upon leaders and Pikmin in its sight. Because of this, it tries not to crush its prey but to completely annihilate them from a distance. Occasionally, a Turretoad will cease firing for a moment to launch a small, heat-seeking missile from its mouth-cannon, which tracks leaders and Pikmin but can be used against it in the same manner as a Decorated Cannon Beetle's boulders. This missile will explode upon contact with anything it collides with. Turretoads will relentlessly pursue their targets, even leaping around and over obstacles such as walls to get a shot at them. Bomb rocks are another effective weapon against a Turretoad, other than its missiles.
