The Watery Bulbear is a close relative of the Spotty Bulbear and the Watery Bulblax. Drool practically flows from its mouth, and covering its backside is a watery membrane: any Pikmin that touches the drool or membrane will drown unless they are Blue Pikmin. It is normally found sleeping peacefully and only awakens if it is disturbed. Watery Bulbears prefer inhabiting frigid environments, and strangely the membrane covering their back does not freeze. When the environment in which they are living becomes warm enough, Watery Bulbears will seek a colder area to inhabit. To defeat Watery Bulbear, rapidly throw or swarm Blue Pikmin onto its back from behind it while it sleeps. To defeat one from the front, Purple Pikmin can be thrown onto the creature's face to inflict lots of damage and potentially stun it, although they will be at risk of drowning if they are under the Watery Bulbear's face and its drool splashes onto them. Ultra-spicy spray and ultra-bitter spray can be useful in a battle against one.
