The Centipede Bulblax is an enemy in the game The President's Adventure. Althought it belongs to the Grub-Dog family for being a Bulblax, it don't have legs to walk. It crawls, instead. In water, it doesn't drown, giving it a lot of characteristics from the Amphitubers. It's body is really long and loosely looks like the Empress Bulblax. It has around 1500 HP.

Locations
Until now, the Centipede Bulblax have only appeared in two places, both caves, being them the Stormy Holloways and The Kitchen.

General Layout
The Centipede Bulblax is from the Grub-Dog family, althought it doesn't have legs. It has eyes, but they're stick to it's body, and don't look like an antenna, like the other Bulborbs. It don't walk, it crawls. Also, in water it doesn't drown, it just keep crawling, but in a much slower speed.

It's body is huge, making it the tallest enemy ever seen. It isn't as large as the Empress Bulblax, but can roll over to attack Pikmin, even that being not a very effective attack from himself. His body is entirely segmented, and destroyed a part of it may defeat it, or lead the creature to try capturing his other body pieces.

It's body is entirely purple, and again, huge.

Behavior
Usually edgy, the Centipede Bulblax has the spotting abilities of a Spotty Bulbear, but is never sleeping. Ultra Bitter Sprays don't work on him, due to his body size. It sometimes can get stuck on walls or small places, and his body can be either a trap to himself, to the player, and to enemies on the surroundings.

If it spots a Pikmin, it will race to it. When it's health is low, it shouts smoke balls out of his body and attack more quickly. When he's body is detatched, it will race desperately, looking for his other body parts. If the head is defeated before the body has taken any damage, it will slowly and mysterious disappear.

How To Kill
Pikmin
Lots of Purple Pikmin on his head may be the fastest way to get rid of him. Another clever way is to attack it from behind and destroy his body. If the body isn't destroyed and it separates itself, aim for the head, since, walking fast and desperate, it won't attack and will just receive damage.

Beware it's rolling overs. It maybe slow and clumsy, but trapped Pikmin are always trapped Pikmin.

Captain
Damaging any individual part of a Centipede Bulblax's body except for the head will separate all of its segments and lead the creature into desperately attempting to reclaim its lost body parts, during which it will move quickly and completely ignore Pikmin. However, if the head is attacked and defeated before any other part, the entire creature will mysteriously disappear. Throwing many Purple Pikmin at its head is the optimal way to defeat it. When its health is low, it attacks more quickly and ejects smoke balls from its body. Leaders can not harm a Centipede Bulblax on their own, and ultra-bitter sprays are ineffective against Centipede Bulblaxes because they are so large.
It's impossible to a captain to damage a Centipede Bulblax due to his heavy skin, that makes a shield around his body. Punching will be unaffective.

The Centipede Bulblax is a grub-dog appearing in The President's Adventure, exclusively in caves, those being the Stormy Holloways and the Kitchen. Despite its name, it only loosely resembles the Empress Bulblax because of its elongated, segmented body, has no eyestalks, and lacks legs, forcing it to crawl. It can survive underwater and will slowly inch along the body of any water body it enters. It may get stuck on walls, tight spaces, and anything else it passes by, and can inadvertently trap Pikmin, leaders, and even small enemies it curls around. Typically edgy, the Centipede Bulblax can detect Pikmin and leaders quickly and will rush towards those it does. Eating is its primary means of attack, although it may also choose to roll over Pikmin, which is usually ineffective. The Centipede Bulblax's species, gaia, relates to nature and is the name of the great goddess Gaia.
