A boss in the game [[Pikmin: New World]]. It is found on the last sublevel of the [[Hallow of Fire]]. It resembles a large, claw-like shell twisted around into a spiral. On its side it has a large crack that splits its shell open. In this spot, two knobbley curled-up tentacles stick out from the opening and the creature's bare skin is visable. This skin is a dark pinkish-red and ontop of its body there are two devilish inwardly-curved horns. The beast is highly impervious to fire due to its shell and its large boss arena is filled with various fire geysers. The creature stands on the tip of its shell, wobblling back and forth on the spot, waving its tentacles about wildly. If the player approaches it the tips of its tentacles will light up bright orange, indicating that it has sensed the electrical pulses emanating from his/her suit. The boss fight then procedes quite differently than others. It will hop towards the player and continue to move in their direction as they move away from it. if the player switches to a character nearby, the creature will not stop to look around for a second and intead simply spin around in mid hop and immediately begin moving towards them, ignoring the now innactive character directly in front of them. However, if the player then switches to a character further away it will lose their scent and stop moving, the glow on the tips of its tentacles going out instantly. The creature will sway back and forth, frantically waving its tentaces around in an attempt to catch onto the players scent. If the player moves closer to it, it will regain the glow on its tentacle tips and turn around to chase the player. The creature will follow the player's path instead of taking shortcuts as any ordinary homing enemy would do, so it can be tricked. If the creature catches up to the player it will attack by squirting out a tar-black liquid ([[Rose Pikmin]] unimune) from vents in its shell that engulfs any captains or pikmin within range and sucks them up, though the captains are only damaged by this process. After it has been killed it explodes with the black liquid and leaves behind onlythe tip of its shell which shrinks down to a small size and the Crusher Retardant, which grants the player the Squash Suit, preventing captains from being harmed by Wollywogs or any other crushing enenemies or obstacles, like certain members of the [[arachnorb]] family.

If the creature catches up to a leader, it will attack by squirting out a pitch-black [[adhesive]] from vents in its shell onto them, engulfing them and [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] within range and then proceeding to suck them up, though leaders are merely injured by this process.
