The Dwarf Ghostly Bulborb is an enemy that has only so far appeared in the game Pikmin:The After Years. It is the spirit of a deceased Dwarf Red Bulborb. Instead of its red and white color, it has a grey body with purple spots and gleaming yellow eyes and it has lost its legs in exchange for a ghostly tail. It attacks the same way a Dwarf Red Bulborb would, but it can now go through walls and other obstacles in its way.
How to Kill
Throwing Pikmin at it will not work, as it is a ghost and the Pikmin will just go right through it. Luckily though, there are cracks of light in the ceiling. When one of these beasts gets hit by light, it will turn solid, and that is your chance to attack. When defeated though, they turn into Dark Matter.
Trivia
*Though part of the Breadbug family, they disappear into Dark Matter, a characteristic only seen in the Dark Matters family.
*These enemies are similar to the Poe enemies from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

The Dwarf Ghostly Bulborb is a spectral breadbug mimic appearing in Pikmin: The After Years. It is the spirit of a deceased Dwarf Red Bulborb, and instead of its usual coloring and features, it has a gray body, purple spots on its backside, gleaming yellow eyes, and a ghostly tail, physical characteristics shared by Ghostly Bulborbs, Ghastly Empress Bulblaxes, and Ghastly Emperor Bulblaxes. It attacks in much the same manner as a dwarf bulborb would, but it can pass through walls and other such obstacles in its way. Attacking a Dwarf Ghostly Bulborb with punches or Pikmin is futile as it is spectral, although light such as that passing through the cracks of the ceilings of the caves in which they are found renders them vulnerable. Upon defeat, a Dwarf Ghostly Bulborb will turn into dark matter, a characteristic only seen in beings comprised of dark matter.
