The Leviathan Blowhog is a species of hypertrophic blowhog appearing in Pikmin Evolution, being the hypertrophic variant of the Watery Blowhog. It shares the same body style of its smaller counterpart, but now has blue webbing around its snout and its body overall has a faint turquoise coloration, giving it a more aquatic appearance. As its name suggests, the Leviathan Blowhog is also massive, being the watery equivalent to the Vulcan Blowhog and the Yeti Blowhog. The Leviathan Blowhog acts as similar manners to those two species, it will roam its territory, showing great aggression to fire-based creatures, but fleeing from ice-based creatures. The Leviathan Blowhog will also attack anyone who enters its territory with its powerful water-based abilities. When preparing to shoot out a stream of pressurized water, it will inhale in large amounts of wind, sucking any Pikmin who enters the suction range. If it sucks up a Pikmin it will eat them, killing them in the process. After sucking in this large amount of air, the Leviathan Blowhog will shoot out its hyper pressurized water gun, this is notable for being one of the few water-based attacks to damage captains, and any Pikmin who enters this water will scatter and start to drown, with anyone immune to the water being pushed into the abyss below. As they are water-based enemies, they are mostly helpless against Kelp Pikmin, I say mostly as they are still vulnerable to the Leviathan Blowhog's suction attack and the pressurized water pushing them into the abyss, though they are pushed back at a reduced rate. Their fear of ice is also warranted completely as if you have it suck up a cold cyan syrup its internal body will freeze up. This makes the Blowhog much more sluggish and unable to spit out water, it can't even shake off Pikmin making it completely defenseless. However be careful at the front as after a while it will spit out the chunk of ice clogging its insides which has the mass and weight of a powerful boulder, so regardless be careful about that. Still with a full squad of Kelp Pikmin, the Leviathan Blowhog isn't all that bad.
