The Leviathan Blowhog is a species of hypertrophic blowhog appearing in Pikmin Evolution, being the hypertrophic variant of the Watery Blowhog. It shares the appearance of its smaller counterpart, but has blue webbing around its snout and its body overall has a faint turquoise coloration, giving it a more aquatic appearance. As its name suggests, the Leviathan Blowhog is also massive, being the watery equivalent to the Vulcan Blowhog and the Yeti Blowhog. The Leviathan Blowhog acts similarly to those two species, as it will roam its territory, and this particular blowhog shows great aggression to fire-based creatures but flees from ice-based creatures. The Leviathan Blowhog will also attack anything that enters its territory with its powerful water-based abilities. When preparing to shoot out a stream of pressurized water, it will inhale large amounts of air, sucking any Pikmin in its suction range. If it sucks up a Pikmin, it will eat them, killing them in the process. Afterward, the Leviathan Blowhog will shoot out a torrent of hyper-pressurized water, notable for being one of the few water-based attacks to damage captains. Any Pikmin hit by the attack will scatter and start to drown, and anything immune to the water may be pushed into a nearby abyss. As they are water-based enemies, they are mostly helpless against Kelp Pikmin, which are still subject to the Leviathan Blowhog's suction, and the force of its pressurized water blast, though they are pushed back at a reduced rate. Their fear of ice is also warranted completely as if it is made to ingest a cold cyan syrup while inhaling, its internal body temperature will drop significantly, rendering it much more sluggish and unable to spit out water. While under the syrup's effects, it can't even muster the strength to shake off Pikmin, making it completely defenseless. However, be sure not to linger around its face for too long, as after a while, it will spit out a chunk of ice clogging its insides, which has the mass and weight of a powerful boulder, easily capable of crushing Pikmin. Still, with a healthy number of Kelp Pikmin, the Leviathan Blowhog should not pose too much of a challenge.
