The Blizzarding Blowhog is a large Snowy Blowhog. They act much like their smaller brethren, wandering about their territory while idle and blowing frost from their trunks at nearby Pikmin and leaders. Notably, its breath blows away anything it doesn't freeze first.

The Yeti Blowhog is a species of hypertrophic blowhog appearing in Pikmin Evolution, being the hypertrophic variant of the Snowy Blowhog. It shares the same body style as the Snowy Blowhog, but has a layer of thick white fur on its face and its skin is more silver in color, making it appear more beastly. Like the Leviathan Blowhog and the Vulcan Blowhog, the Yeti Blowhog is very big and has a lot of health. The Yeti Blowhog acts in similar manners to those two species, as it will roam its territory, showing great aggression to water-based creatures, but fleeing from fire-based creatures. The massive health pool of the Yeti Blowhog is magnified by the fact that attacking its face will deal reduced damage compared to attacking the back. The Yeti Blowhog attacks by inhaling large amounts of air, and while this suction attack is weaker than the ones made by its similar relatives, it is still dangerous as anything that is sucked in the Blowhog's mouth will be eaten and killed. After sucking in air, the Yeti Blowhog will spew a blanket of thick snow. While Alloy Pikmin are immune to this attack, making them the best Pikmin to fight this creature with. Any other Pikmin will be buried and frozen, which means attempting to pluck them will cause them to shatter, requiring waiting for them to thaw prior to plucking them. Should Alloy Pikmin be unavailable, an effective strategy is to throw a fiery red syrup toward its trunk as it inhales. Upon ingesting the syrup, the innards of the creature catch fire, and instead of frost, it will instead blow harmless white smoke. This leaves the Blowhog defenseless to all attacks for a time, but after a while, it will shoot a massive snowball that can certainly push Pikmin in its path into a nearby abyss, so it's best to not attack its face during this vulnerable phase. Overall, while the Yeti Blowhog is indeed tougher to fight compared to the Snowy Blowhog, it's not that much worse since it's prone to the same strategies used against the standard Snowy Blowhog.
