Volcanic Wastes is the second area in Pikspore. It is a dangerous land of volcanoes, sandy pathways, and scorched trees. The most notable feature of the area is the lava that instantly kills any Pikmin that touches it, even Red Pikmin. Yellow Pikmin are discovered here, and White Pikmin are discovered in one of the area's caves.
