The Dwarf Enraged Bulborb is a species of grub-dog in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature is a juvenile Enraged Bulborb. It has a black hide with white spots, along with reddish eyes with yellow pupils. Its claws and teeth are extremely sharp, and the bulborb is most noticeable for the small tail protruding from its backside.

The Dwarf Enraged Bulborb will wander around, looking for prey. If it spots any Pikmin, it will charge at them, and if it reaches its target, it will scoop up a Pikmin and eat them while still running. If unsuccessful, it will either stop charging or, if not possible, accidentally ram into a wall and die instantly. The Dwarf Raging Bulborb can also scream, awakening Enraged Bulborbs while attracting other Dwarf Enraged Bulborbs and other creatures to the area. Most notably, the grub-dog can not be killed instantly with a Pikmin thrown on its back, as it does only a little extra damage. Fur Pikmin can stay latched onto the creature when charging, making it a good counter to the ferocious enemy.

Olimar's notes

This species of bulborb displays extremely aggressive behavior. Surprisingly, this grub-dog species sports an unusual tail. While it serves little purpose in childhood, it ends up developing a sedimentary chunk of rock on its tip to use for hunting. The dwarfs hunt in packs, barely relying on their parents to hunt for food. A Dwarf Enraged Bulborb barely stays by its original nest for long before running off to live off the land.

Louie's notes

This hard-to-beat bug sports an extremely spicy flavor. It’s best to have a glass of milk nearby when eating a grilled slice of enraged meat.

President’s notes

Is it just me, or do these guys remind me of Bulbie? I’ve always wanted a dog, but I don’t think these animals would make a good substitute... unless you like annoying, violent creatures. I guess chihuahua lovers would like these.
