The Rainbow Pikmin is a Pikmin appearing in Pikmin: Rainbow World that is made extremely useful because of its incredible abilities. They can resist a multitude of hazards, can handle rainbow bomb rocks, and have overall high statistics, although their carrying capacity is one, and they can not survive sunset. Most notably, Rainbow Pikmin can survive being hit by rainbow shockwaves, but exposure to them will cause them to lose a single color; should a Rainbow Pikmin lose all six of its colors, it will revert to whichever Pikmin it was before. Like Yellow Pikmin, Rainbow Pikmin can be thrown high, and like White Pikmin, they can detect buried objects.
