In Pikmin: Under Lock and Key, Space Bunnies are a race of space-faring rabbit people that are feared by Hocotatians for their alien behavior and pirate attacks involving stealing thousands of pikpik carrots for themselves. Not much is known about them since they refuse to communicate and are skittish as they are vicious. A Space Bunny is first encountered in Arid Acre with their own set of Red Pikmin.

Space Bunnies are around the size of a small Hocotatian and have pure white fur, large ears, beady eyes, and dot noses. Their spacesuits are low-tech in comparison to modern Hocotatian spacesuits, with many seams and cloudy glass that obscure their face. Their helmets are designed to accommodate their large ears.

Space Bunnies are primarily herbivores and consume tons of vegetables per day. They are known for their ravenous appetites, comparable to those of Koppaites, and resort to stealing shipments of carrots across space. They particularly enjoy the Pikpik brand.
