Story

It has been 2 Galactic Years since the events of Pikmin 4, and PNF-404 has been declared Off-Limits by all planetary governments as heavily requested by the Rescue Corp due to it's toxic atmosphere, incredibly deadly wildlife, and currently unexplained spaceship disruptions causing innumerable crashes. The Sector around PNF-404 is now patrolled by the Hocotate Federation to prevent casualties and stop treasure hunters from exploiting it's natural resources.

YOU, Captain K. Burra are the pilot of the S.S. Kingfisher, contracted by the Federation along with three other crewmembers to explore, chart out, and discover the secrets of the planet in hopes of figuring out and stopping what is causing the shipwreck phenomenon! With countermeasures set up you narrowly avoid a shipwreck yourself and land safely. Will you survive the deadly PNF-404 and solve it's mysteries?
