Dwarf Yellow Bulborbs are the Breadbug mimics of Yellow Bulborbs. They in [[Pikmin 2]] beta. Ironically, Yellow Bulborbs are thought to be Red Bulborbs with simply a different skin pattern that occured due to environmental changes, proving that the Breadbugs yet again can adapt to sudden changes to meet whatever needs are necessary to remain incognito amongst larger predators.

The Dwarf Yellow Bulborb is a member of the breadbug family that was seen in prerelease footage of Pikmin 2 alongside the Yellow Bulborb. Except for its yellow backside and uniquely black spots, it resembles the Dwarf Red Bulborb. It apparently became the Snow Bulborb as development on the game continued.
