quick question:

how did you make the maps for areas? Fingernails (talk) 03:09, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

I used the app Ibis paint on my phone and just drew them. Then I turned a bunch of map icons into png format and pasted them on the map where I wanted them to be. PurpleHeadache 13:54, 1 September 2023 (UTC)

A question

Is Pikmin 44 based on my Pikmin 2... Again?? I'm asking that becasue both have the thing, or at least what it seems, that its the game, but again and instead of another number like Pikmin 5, in that case, Pikmin 44 just with the four twice, which made me wonder so that's why i asked. Blower Pot icon.pngBlower Pot Talk | Contributions | Fanon game

I'm planning to have it sort of combine the stories of Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 2 into the Pikmin 4 universe. After Pikmin 4 Louie and Olimar return to Hocotate, and after some time they need to return to PNF-404 to pay off the company debt. Meanwhile, the events of Pikmin 3 are going on as well. However, this time the Rescue corp is called in just as the Koppaites are ready to leave the planet. Their ships collide and now Olimar, Louie, Brittany, Alph, Charlie, Collin, and Shepherd are all stranded on PNF-404. PurpleHeadache 05:06, 2 September 2023 (UTC)

Re:Hello, I'm PurpleHeadache

Why thank you Purple! I'm so glad you like them so much! I like drawing them quite a lot, even if the linework isn't always on point. Do look out for plenty of more in the future! --CarrotStilts1 (talk) 01:32, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Hey

Sorry I didn't realize potted plants were separate obstacles from jars, so you can change that (probably again) on your area articles that have them. Also, when you're uploading pictures, which look amazing by the by, could you please name them after the article title rather than the name you gave them? It helps make organizing images easier. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  13:19, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Thank you. I will start naming my pictures after the article I put them on. I noticed you added P44 to the beginning of some of my images. Do you want me to start doing that too? PurpleHeadache 3:11, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

It's not really necessary unless you want to disambiguate it from the other enemy images. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  15:27, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Wait a minute...

So, how do you even can make those Pikmin sprites, some weren't made by Mattdog1000000, such as Pikmin and Jungle Pikmin's sprites for the userboxes mimicking those of the {{favpik}} so i wonder how and where did they even made those in first place? Blower Pot icon.pngBlower Pot Talk | Contributions | Fanon game

I used the app Pixel Studio on my phone and mimicked the art style of the (template:favpik) Pikmin sprites. PurpleHeadache 7:12, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

Question

How does the Desert Pikmin even carry without arms, neither its shape help to show how, well, the Bulbmin carries with its snout (notable example are its Pikmin 2... Again? rework). But the Desert Pikmin though... I don't see how it can carry. So how exactly it can carry stuffs? Blower Pot icon.pngBlower Pot Talk | Contributions | Fanon game

Desert Pikmin are still highly unfinished in their current state. I plan on making plenty of changes to them in the future. One thing for certain, they will remain armless as I like the way it looks on them. So I will either buff them enough so that they don't need the ability to carry things, or I will find some way to make them carry items realistically. PurpleHeadache

Okay, at first I though they could carry with their heads... Or something like. But following the physics... It would need like four of them to support the object realistically talking, depending or its size and shape, then I thought on the center, and still not cause it would be OP, if we use a flat object as example cause carrying something like a disc they would be protect from attacks based treasures are solid, so enemies cannot pass or hit through those. Area infobox

I tweaked how Pikmin are displayed in the area infobox in articles pertaining to your game, since I thought it looked a bit messy. If you have your heart set on the way you had it, I'll undo my changes. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  14:31, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

No worries, I kinda thought it looked messy too, I was actually thinking of changing it myself when I realized that the icons actually linked to the pikmin's page. PurpleHeadache 3:55, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

Very well. ~ Cheepy-Cheepy icon.pngCheepy-Cheepy  16:02, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

A comment about P44 and Lil Questions

I love Pikmin 44 and how you created it, i love how it takes place after Pikmin 4 and the Areas and Enemies as well! but i do have some questions.

  1. How would the final boss's be planned to look like?
  2. in the image of the Bulblax Burial Grounds voyage log, is that supposed to be Predatory Mireclops?
  3. How many sublevels is the Last cave planned to have?

otherwise the is a very amazing game and im so happy to see how it looks when everything's done. :) P4 Grubchucker icon.pngAkram0218 Talk

Of course, I'm happy to answer any questions about the game idea and its development process. First off, the final boss idea I have for Pikmin 44 will remain a secret until I start working on the final cave of the game. However, I can say that it will be very similar to both the Plasm Wraith and the Titan Dweevil. It will hopefully tie together the lore of Pikmin in a compelling way. Secondly, yes, you are correct in your assumption that the image for the page of Bulblax Burial Grounds is the Predatory Mireclops. It may sorta look like a Moldy Emporer Bulblax, but that's the point. I want it to surprise players when it reveals itself to actually be a Mireclops in disguise. I have been working on the design for the predatory Mireclops for a few months now, but I haven't nailed down how I envision it in my mind just yet. Hopefully, the art and page for it will come together soon. Finally, the last cave is planned to have 20 sublevels, exactly like the final cave in Pikmin 4. The sublevels will also be very similar to those in Pikmin 4, having lots of old bosses return once more for a final fight. Anyway, I hope that answers your questions and by all means feel free to ask more. I actually really enjoy answering questions like these because it allows me to put my ideas to paper even if they aren't fully fleshed out yet. This also means that these answers aren't fully set in stone yet and may undergo some changes in the future. PurpleHeadache 23:13, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
