Spider Attic is one of the caves in the Perplexing Storm in Pikmin 2: New Year. The cave is filled with very small and hostile insectoid creatures; one of the most prominent being dweevils. This labyrinth is also one of the first to feature electrical hazards. The general theme of the cave is a wooden, treehouse-like labyrinth. The total price of treasures in the cave is 
× 900, with the Amplified Amplifier being the main treasure.

There is actually nothing that stands in the way of accessing the cave. All that must be done is killing a Lily Wollywog, and optionally, a few Skitter Leaves in order to proceed to the entrance.

There are numerous weak enemies protecting the mushroom treasure. Kill the Napalm Dweevils protecting the Toxic Toadstool in order to obtain it, and move on.

A large variety of insects protect the three treasures in this sublevel. Make sure to take out the fire geysers and the Fiery Blowhog so Pikmin are not set ablaze. The Antenna Beetle may lead them to the fire geysers. Take out all three dweevils so the treasures can be taken without much trouble from them. Do not leave Pikmin unattended, as Shearwigs may be waiting nearby to snatch them up.

Electrical wires are in this sublevel. Make sure to take them out and the Alkaline Dweevils with Yellow Pikmin so other Pikmin don't die. Watch out for the Easter Chrysanthemums, as they are extremely difficult to take down without losing Pikmin. It is best to swarm one from behind right after it bites down.

A variety of vicious enemies lurk within this sublevel; most oddly, a Waterwraith without its rollers. It can be ignored, but it may run into Pikmin, throwing them around. Watch out for Easter Chrysanthemums and the Garish Cannon Beetle Larva, as they can easily take down Pikmin. The dweevils may also prove a huge nuisance, as they will take treasures. Doodlebugs can give extra ultra-bitter sprays to take down the stronger enemies.

Nectar egg × 1
The boss of the final floor is the Prismal Long Legs. It is recommended to use Yellow Pikmin to take down the arachnorb, as they can easily reach the insect as it stomps around. Make sure to collect the Talisman of Life in the sublevel as well.
