The Oily Wollywog is a species of amphituber in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature looks like a normal Wollywog in anatomy, but it has a grey skin tone with green eyes. The creature is covered in oil, with the top of its body being a dark gray hue. The creature will remain by oil pools until it spots Pikmin. It will then attempt to hop on them to crush them. If it lands, the creature will create a small pool of oil around it. Any Pikmin that touches the oil will slip around and be unable to latch onto the Wollywog. The only Pikmin that can fight the creature in any meaningful capacity is Oil Pikmin. However, Rubber Pikmin will not slip in oil, and can latch onto the creature. Its youngest form is the Oiled Wogpole.

- “The Oily Wollywog lives mainly in pools of lubricant. These creatures are herbivores, feeding off of plants that live near the pools of oil. Due to this, the amphituber will excrete a slippery substance from its skin, allowing the creature to escape from virtually most predators. It’s not like predators roam around oil pits, anyway.”

The Splattering Wollywog is a relative of the Yellow Wollywog that secretes oil. It is yellow in color, has black eyes, and has black oil on its underbelly and feet. Like most amphitubers, it tries to crush Pikmin by landing on top of them, and when it hits the ground, it leaves behind a slippery oil puddle that makes them slip, slide, and fall, leaving them vulnerable to attacks from other enemies. Black Pikmin are unaffected by the oil and as such are highly recommended to fight a Splattering Wollywog with.
