The Flaming Trench is a cave in Pikmin 251. It is found in the Flooded Fields and is typically explored before the Ivory Metalworks. The theme of the Flaming Trench is fire, which is also its sole hazard. All five sublevels contain fire geysers and often other sources of the hazard. Two Burrowing Snarrows serve as its boss; upon death, one will regurgitate the Unstable Pool, which unlocks the Burn Heal. There are × 1,585 worth of treasures split between nine items, and bodies of every creature together are worth between × 173 and × 233, depending on how many Mitites appear.
