Note to editor: seems like a dungeon to me, not a cave, even if it is entered as if it were a cave. Also, the collectibles section in the infobox should contain a number of collectibles, not specific ones. Remove this when you're done.

Everlasting Engine is the third and final subarea in Fallen Elysium, and the final dungeon in Pikmin ARC altogether. It serves as the final obstacle between the captains and the final bosses, the Toxonion and Armored Artificer. While it appears to be a cave because of the way it is accessed, which is through a hole, it is in fact a dungeon, with a unique system to move between floors, two-way elevators that must be unlocked. These also move around different parts of the Elysium space station, explaining the biome changes. This dungeon is a massive 72 floors deep, necessitating lots of preparation. Due to its position, only Blue Pikmin can enter it, so make sure to stock up on shiny Blues for exactly this moment.

Position

This cave is located underwater, so only Blue Pikmin can enter it. It is also locked behind a door that only unlocks once a key is obtained from defeating the Bellskate boss again, which itself is locked behind Arv's security force, which includes the dreaded Hunters-at-Legs.

Floor 1

Treasures
Enemies

This floor has a circular arena with four branches, one of which the player lands in and three contain Decorated Cannon Larvae. The main arena has two Armored Cannon Beetles, but once they are killed, a Decorated Cannon Beetle will drop down. This beetle is the floor boss and the Earthen Orb it drops is the first Engine Key, required to proceed.

Floor 2

Treasures
Enemies

This floor, resembling the inside of a box full of objects, contains the first of many, many Hunters-at-Legs, as well as three Men-at-Legs, two of which are on the mandatory path and one carrying the Mirrored Stage. The Hunter-at-Legs on this floor is mandatory to defeat to proceed.

Floor 3

Treasures
Enemies

This floor moves from the sanitized interior of the station to one of the station's biospheres, this one a rocky one. It's full of Snagrets, with one Pileated Snagret as a miniboss that must be defeated to open the elevator, and another carrying the Disk of Sorrowful Wisdom.

Floor 4

Enemies

This appears to be a rest floor, but contains multiple Foolixes and Greater Foolixes.

Floor 5

Treasures
  • Perfected Detector
Enemies

This is an actual rest floor, containing the elevator, a trio of Crimson Candypop Buds, Swarming Shearmites, and the Perfected Detector, which pins treasures on the map.

Floor 6

Treasures
Enemies

This floor is full of Bulborbs, and a singular Calcified Crushblat has the sole treasure, the Anti-Hiccup Fungus.

Floor 7

This floor is a series of circular caves with a lot of pods and Bulborb Larvae. Each one is separated from the next by a wall. At the end is the Empress Bulblax and even more Bulborb Larva, and every enemy on the floor must be defeated to proceed.

Floor 8

Treasures
Enemies

This floor takes place in a metallic environment, and the only things on it are the buried treasure and Hunters-at-Legs. Note that the treasure is fully buried, so you will have to go back up with White Pikmin once you have them to collect it. Both bosses must be defeated to proceed.

Floor 69

Enemies

This floor takes place deep in the bowels of the station, and Red Pikmin are required for most of the treasures as they're across the lava. The enemy content is mostly Hunters-at-Legs. There are 8 of them, organized into groups of 3, 3, and 2.

Floor 70

This floor is very expansive and mostly serves as an endurance test as the four Hunters-at-Legs must be defeated to move on.

Floor 71

Enemies
Treasures

This is the last rest floor, and as such contains every type of candypop bud as well as true Ujadani and Arv's Memento.

Floor 72

Enemies

This floor is just a straight shot to Toxonion's arena. The boss will flee after taking enough damage, though, and must be properly fought up at the surface.
