Green Bulborbs are a pygmy species of grub-dog that were recently discovered. There are no Breadbug mimics of this species as they would be far too small to defend themselves. Only mature Green Bulborbs have been discovered. They are green with black spots and have pale faces. They are about the size of an adult Bulbmin leader, and similarly to them, they never sleep, instead choosing to patrol their territory in search of prey, a habit until now thought reserved for the subspecies known as bulbears. As pack hunters, Green Bulborbs are dangerous for pygmies and a threat to any creature that unknowingly wanders into their territory unprepared.

In Pikmin: The After Years
Template:PAY Up until Pikmin: The After Years, there have been no breadbug mimics. Like the Spotty Bulbear, this grub-dog has Dwarf Green Bulborbs following it, but they are significantly weaker than Dwarf Red Bulborbs.

Notes
Olimar's notes
- "This bulborb has an internal organ that produces a chemical substance that burns on contact with air. It also has an incredibly rare chance to internally explode."
Ship's notes
- "These bulborbs just have the nerve to catch on fire at random times. It even burnt up my pellet posy samples that I was going to study, and now the pikmin are upset with me!"
In Pikmin: Adventure of Four
In Pikmin: Adventure of Four, Green Bulborbs look slightly different than in most games. Unlike other species of bulborbs, this one hunts during the day and sleeps at night. The reason behind this is still unknown but the most common theory is behind its most obvious characteristic - its arms. These arms allow the creature to dig up Pikmin still planted in the ground. Since it's rare for Pikmin to be planted in the ground at night, this is the most possible reason why it's not nocturnal. Thankfully, this breed has less health than a Red Bulborb.
