The cottonade family consists of puffy creatures that resemble cotton balls with insectoid features.

The Electric Cottonade can generate electricity to stun its prey before inhaling it with its striped trunk.

Flaming Cottonade

The Flaming Cottonade is a charred, burning, and hostile cottonade. It floats aggressively about in the air above a set territory and attacks all that come near.

Foraging Cottonade

The Foraging Cottonade is a smaller cottonade that can discharge static electricity generated by rubbing up against other cottonades.

Titan Cottonade

The massive Titan Cottonade has a massive, round body that is primarily gray in coloration with patches of green.

-The Titan Cottonade is a cottonade found in the files of Hey! Pikmin. It has a massive, round body that, due to its texture being left unfinished, is primarily gray in coloration with patches of green. Dotted around its body are what appear to be spikes, and its large, orange eyes rest on thin eyestalks and would have been able to retract and extend out of the sheathes the eyestalks are contained within. On the front of the base of its body are four long, clawed legs. It would most likely have served as a boss judging from its size and animations. The battle against it may have been very similar to the one against the Emperor Bulblax in the final version of the game judging from its walking animation, in which it appears to turn in place instead of walking in a specific direction, and an animation it eating something and reacting to it, the eaten object possibly being a bomb rock.
