The Green Bulbear is a large grub-dog appearing in Pikmin: Redemption. It resembles a Spotty Bulbear, although slightly larger and with green skin and spots. A Green Bulbear can eat up to fifteen Pikmin in one bite, and it has double the stamina of a Spotty Bulbear. This one is really dangerous. It leads Spotty Bulbears, which in turn lead Dwarf Bulbears. The Green Bulbear appears in Pikmin: Invasion of the Giants. A large grub-dog, the Green Bulbear should be weakened indirectly by defeating the Spotty Bulbears around it. Ensure they don't group behind the Green Bulbear, or else there may be heavy Pikmin losses. If a Green Bulbear is seen, it's best to ensure a leader's Pikmin is able to keep up with them, using a dose of ultra-spicy spray if necessary. Run around the beast to reach its backside, moving faster than the beast can turn. Throw Pikmin at its backside when possible, and then run by the front of it to act as tempting bait. When it shakes Pikmin off, it will go after the leader in front of it instead of the Pikmin attacking it. Loop around to recall the Pikmin attacking it, and repeat the cycle until the creature is dead. A Green Bulbear can be found on sublevel one of the Pit of Raveny. A comical note to mention about Captain Olimar's notes for the Green Bulbear is that they would be more appropriate for the Scrub Brush, and his notes for the Scrub Brush would be more appropriate for the Green Bulbear.

It takes a minimum of 25 pikmin to carry it, with a maximum of 50 at a time. This is the hardest regular enemy in the game, and thus gives you 150 seeds, more pikmin seeds than any other in-game creature or plant.

Run in a circle around the beast until you reach its backside. It takes its time turning, and every second counts. Throw Pikmin on its back, and then run by as tempting bait.
