The shellusk family consists of creatures that resemble real-world sea anemones.

-Barnagons are humongous Starnacle relatives that live on rocks in the ocean. They appear mainly in the Creature's Quay area on the larger stone platforms. The Barnagon is a large Starnacle with blue tentacles tipped with stones, a grey body with yellow flaps, and a large orange eye that has a red outline around it's urn shaped pupil.

-The Starnacle is an aquatic creature, made of three tentacles placed around a green eye. Its main purpose is blocking underwater passages. To get rid of it, [[Olimar]] just has to throw a [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] at its eye, making the Starnacle retract its tentacles. It only lasts for a short amount of time, before this creature regains its original position.
