I see your confusion. Template:Welcome is for the welcome I gave you above. It is such a long welcome that we had to make a code to automatically generate the welcome message. Anyways, User:Peach Bulborb is the place you'll want to go to introduce yourself, and to reply to someone who leaves a message to you, find their talk page, usually located on their signature.
