The Green Bulbear is a large grub-dog appearing in Pikmin: Redemption. It resembles a Spotty Bulbear, although slightly larger and with green skin and spots. As it wanders an area, Spotty Bulbears it passes by may follow behind it, and they, in turn, may be followed by Dwarf Bulbears they pass by. A Green Bulbear can eat up to fifteen Pikmin in one bite, and it has double the stamina of a Spotty Bulbear. It can also revive some time after dying, meaning its body must be somehow disposed of quickly to avoid another confrontation with the creature. Twenty-five Pikmin are required to carry the body of a Green Bulbear, and fifty Pikmin can carry it at most. It is the most challenging normal enemy in the game and yields one hundred fifty seeds when brought to an Onion. Use whatever tools are available to weaken the Green Bulbear and its group of bulbears. A recommended but dangerous strategy is to battle them at the landing site, where the Onions are. Notes

Olimar's notes

This beast had swallowed a treasure that I have named the Scrub Brush. Due to the treasure's immense size, it has very little practical use as a cleaning tool. However, it is as effective as a sand-blaster at removing unwanted space metal-leeches!

There is a lot of meat in this beast! Use it however you see fit, but caution: unexpected results may occur.

Notes

Peach Bulborb's notes

This one is really dangerous. It leads spotty bulbears, which in turn lead dwarf bulbears. Interestingly, the spotty bulbear only assumes a pacified expression and does not attack Pikmin unless the green bulbear roars. This follows the same pattern as a dwarf bulbear, as it just follows behind the spotty bulbear, with an expression that indicates a hollow skull. Thus, defeat the green bulbear quickly and efficiently to minimize Pikmin losses. Sprays are advised. If you defeat the green one, one of the spotty bulbears will take command, leaving the others free to roam.
