The Margaret is a member of the chrysanthemum family, and is visually mimicked by the Creeping Chrysanthemum. While hiding, Creeping Chrysanthemums very closely resemble margarets and use their appearance as camouflage, pretending to be harmless flowers and lying in wait for unsuspecting prey to pass by. The only initially visible differences between Creeping Chrysanthemums and margarets are that the former has eyes on two of its three flowers and the Margaret has four flowers instead of three. Disturbing a cluster of these flowers may sometimes reveal hidden creatures such as Honeywisps or Unmarked Spectralids.
Notes
Olimar's notes
- "This plant's delicate yellow flowers often inspire waves of nostalgia, giving a bittersweet feeling to any who gaze upon them."
Louie's notes
- "Can be eaten fresh out of the soil, but it's much more flavorful when incorporated into a heavenly veggie lasagna."

Notes
Olimar's observations
- “This plant looks like a lot like what a Creeping Chrysanthemum disguises itself as. It's important that I don't confuse them. You know, these flowers would really look nice in my wife's garden back home. I'm sure bringing a few seeds home won't do any harm.”
Cookin' with Louie
