The Spike Dweevil is an enemy appearing in Pikmin 44. It is found in the floor section of Twisting Treetops and in some caves, namely Forgone Timber. It functions similarly to other types of dweevil, however, it shoots out thorns that will instantly kill all but Rock Pikmin and Jungle Pikmin. It can be hard to hit due to its swift movement and small frame, and it cannot be charged at due to its long legs. Occasionally it will pick up treasures and enemy corpses in order to hide under them.
