Twisting Treetops is the third area in Pikmin 44. It is based on a jungle canopy and has two sections, the canopy and ground level. The canopy is the first, as a branch is the initial landing point. However, the ground level can be accessed after completing a particular cave. The area overall primarily utilizes Yellow Pikmin, Jungle Pikmin, and Winged Pikmin, the latter two being found alongside their respective Onions in this location. The area also contains 33 aboveground treasures and features 4 caves.
