The Molten Crater is the crash site of Collin and the setting of the first day in Pikmin 44. It is the second area that can be fully explored. It is based on a volcanic mountain surrounded by a small crater filled with geothermal water. The area primarily utilizes Red Pikmin, Yellow Pikmin, and Blue Pikmin, contains 11 aboveground treasures, and features 3 caves. It also is the location of both the Blue and Red Onions.
