The Rocket Sticktail is an enemy appearing in Pikmin 44. It is found on the final sublevel of Saccharine Icebox and once again in the post-game. It uses its sharp tail to stab Pikmin or leaders. Any Pikmin that runs into its side will freeze. Only Ice Pikmin can damage the Rocket Sticktail without becoming frozen. In order to defeat it, light its tail on fire while it is low to the ground. The fire will spread down its tail like a fuse, launching the Rocket Sticktail forward like a rocket when it reaches its body. Any Pikmin that gets hit by it when it is launched will be crushed, with the exception of Rock Pikmin. When the Rocket Sticktail slams against the wall, it will become dazed momentarily, presenting the opportunity to launch an all-out attack.
