The Blisterbomber is a strange enemy of medium size in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze that resembles a flask with legs. A non-confrontational roaming creature that tries to flee if approached by Pikmin, the Blisterbomber is nonetheless an irritating nuisance due to its habit of laying blister eggs while traveling. Once planted, blister eggs gradually grow in size and soon hatch into Blister Larva which will attack Pikmin. Blister Eggs can be destroyed prior to hatching, however. When a Blisterbomber is defeated, its upper body bursts to reveal four to six blister eggs, leaving only the creature's lower body and legs to carry back.
