The Sickly Wollyhop is an amphituber encountered in Pikmin: Infection in Progress. Sickly Wollyhops reside in the more watery areas of PNF-404 and typically idle in polluted water. Sickly Wollyhops are notable in that they produce a groan-like croak when it sees the President or his Pikmin, and when sunset approaches.

Sickly Wollyhops have a shape and size identical to that of an ordinary Wollyhop and possess an unnaturally green body and a purple belly. The limbs of the creature end in orange. The eyes of a Sickly Wollyhop are bright yellow with black, vertical slit pupils. The eyeballs themselves are surrounded by a white ring. When in contact with polluted water, Sickly Wollyhops will appear much shinier than usual, and it is an appearance they retain while idle in polluted water or are protected by it during combat. A Sickly Wollyhop's pupils will thin when it notices prey, and enlarge when about to attack or senses it is being approached from behind.

Sickly Wollyhops rely heavily on polluted water for protection. After exiting a pool of polluted water, Sickly Wollyhops are vulnerable only to the President's attacks as no Pikmin type is resistant to polluted water. Sickly Wollyhops dry off after landing from a jump or remain out of the water for precisely ten seconds. Polluted water will splash off of a Sickly Wollyhop and cause surrounding Pikmin to begin drowning unless whistled at. Once no longer protected, a Sickly Wollyhop will attempt to return to a pool of water. This can be halted or stopped completely by throwing enough Pikmin onto it to weigh it down.
