The Burgeoning Spiderwort mold is a bulbous structure that grows where berry-bearing Burgeoning Spiderworts do and snuffs them out. This fungus appears occasionally but can be easily destroyed by any Pikmin that attack it. While being attacked, the mold and its thread-like hyphae will slowly shrink and eventually disappear, allowing the Burgeoning Spiderwort and any Pellet Posies that were there to grow once again. The mold is not harmful to the Pikmin, only to the plants it grows in place of.
